Safer at Home
Our current closure is a preventive action against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This includes all activities on Church property.
The decision to close is not made lightly, and is done out of care and concern for our members.
Plans are underway to allow us to return to regular in-person worship soon. In the meanwhile, please join us here or on Facebook for worship online while we Shelter in Faith.
Shelter in Faith
Worship services will continue to be available online. Each week’s worship video will be posted here on our website and on our Facebook page at our regular worship time (11:00 a.m.).
Remember: the church is not the building we meet in each week. We are the church wherever we are.
Worship with those in your family or household. Share the link to our worship videos with others. Whatever else you do, don’t stop worshipping!
Our website is new but will grow quickly as we fill it with future messages, news, information about our activities and outreach, and more, so be sure to check back often to see what’s happening!
A Place for All
Maybe you doubt. Maybe you’ve been hurt. Maybe you feel like you won’t fit in. Maybe you feel like you won’t be accepted. Maybe we should talk.
Church Your Way

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to serve God by sharing love and faith through the word of God.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our purpose is to be living examples of God’s redeeming and transforming love for all creation as we carry the Good News Jesus brought and taught us out into our community and the world, and to do good, do no harm, and love God always.
“For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten son that whosoever should believe in him would have eternal life.”
Break Bread with Us!
LAST SUNDAY EACH MONTH
Temporarily suspended – Our monthly fellowship meals take place on the last Sunday of each month after worship service. The meals are potluck with everyone bringing their favorite dishes to share. Come break bread with us!
1ST SUNDAYS & HOLY DAYS
At Union Grove and all United Methodist Churches, the Lord’s Table is open to all who wish to receive communion. Currently, communion is offered as part of our regular Sunday worship on the first Sunday of each month and appropriate holy days. Communion is also a part of our first Sunday online worship. Please have juice and bread available as you watch those worship videos.
1ST SUNDAYS & Online
Let us pray! On the first Sunday of each month after we re-open, the Sanctuary will be open from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for those who wish to spend time in personal prayer and meditation. There will also be opportunities to join in live online prayer services through our Facebook page each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Click on the arrow next to Contact Us (above) to access our prayer request form.
